we need a predator 3 not a predator remake since a remake would be some stylized piece of shit, from some no name director. hell they already did that with avp, why repeat themselves but then again some people are just naturally dumbasses.

Actually from what I understand it's going to be a sequal and pro wrestler John Cena is playing either the son of the Arnold character or it's going to be a prequal and he is playing a the young version of the Arnold character, I don't remember which one.

No, damn it! Every time a director considers remaking and/or knocking off a classic, we need to roll up a newspaper and give him a firm smack with it.
"No! Bad filmmaker! Be more original!"

No More Remakes!! Have they not figured out that remakes suck yet??? I can't think of a remake in recent history that didn't suck. They need to leave it alone.

I say go ahead and remake it, it was a shitty movie to begin with. At least this'll stall them from remaking any GOOD movies.

Aye! I never thought of that outcome. While they're at it, why not remake some of the old black and white, lower than low budget movies?

Bingo! Why don't the movie company's read these things??? Maybe if they did we could get some better movies.

I agree!
Even movies based on novels are better than remakes, most of the time they turn out preety good even if they ignor parts of the novel.
Some examples of good novel movies are Jurassic Park, Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girls, Outbreak, Die Hard (the novel had a different title).

There is an extreme lack of originality with the young artists(?) in the current generation. Everything is a remake or a cover. It's the best they can muster up.
Having said that, I would like to see a movie about the Predator's home planet, culture, etc. Like someone they think is worthy and they take on the ship home for their gladiator-type arena, with like creatures from other worlds - you win, you get to go home.

Aye! But sadly movies based on games usually end up being a disaster.:(

I manged to watch a interview with John Cena where they brought this up and he said he hasn't been approched by anyone and that this is the first time he's heard that he's meant to be in it.
I say NO TO REMAKE OR PREQUEL BUT HELL YEAH TO P3!

I've noticed that. Tomb Raider sucked, Resident Evil sucked, I'm not touching Doom.
