Just a quick question.
Im writing a short story, and executions play a fairly major part. I was just wondering for authenticity's sake if there was a certain day that executions would have been carried out in the late 1800's in a Brittish colony. I thought Id heared something about this awhile back, but I cant be sure...

British Justice..executions were the americans way..(accordingly).

Executions aren't an American invention. How many people got beheaded at the Tower of London? Americans learned how to execute from the English.
If I misunderstood what you were saying, just disregard this. I was a little unclear what you meant by "executions were the americans way..(accordingly)."

oh soz...i shouldve been more clear.
Apparently ..(hence the sic)..
Americans call them executions.
The word became popular in America after a braodcast into the 'mafia execution style' was blared all over the radio.
British call them british justice when applying 'executions..in the olden days.
British were too politically correct in using such dialect..but ..
the word was SUPPOSEDLY started in Rome.
p.s...dont shoot the messenger..i never wrote the book .
