I Talked to the FBI in PA last night about freddy fans threats to shoot people at school. they called me back this morning turns out he was not kidding. they got him i believe they got him at school, he had a weapon on him and he told them if they wouldn't of stoped him he was going to go through with his threats!!!

When we see 12 year olds who are acting out like this, our first thought is that they couldn't be serious. Who knows whether not this kid would have actually used that knife but the point is, it's never right to even threaten.

I just want to add my thanks to the user Allmykids for what you did. You truly are a hero and did something that many would not have done. You took this threat seriously and by doing so probably saved lives. I live in Lancaster. I write for a newspaper that covers the area "Freddyfan" is from. I go into many schools during my job and am very thankful that tragedy did not strike any of them. We had 2 incidents in York County (where I am originally from...located across the river from Lancaster) in the last couple of years. I thank God this did not happen again.

In "Bowling for Columbine" (a movie I'm not a fan of but anyway) Michael Moore asked Marilyn Manson what he would have said to the kids who were in the Trenchcoat Mafia. Marilyn's awesome response was, and I paraphrase here, nothing. He said he would have done what no one did and listened to the kids.

Allmykids, you obviously listened and you saved lives. I commend you for that!

This is a great lesson to all of us who post on Internet forums.

The story is in all of the papers here in lancaster county. The reason he said these things is supposedly because he was bulleyd excessivly. And by excessivly I mean switching schools and being afraid to go to school. His family is saying that he must have just snapped. He was bulleyd since 4th grade. Now I can see how bullying can lead to violence but obviously it should never go this far.
This is just like colombine no body listened to the kids and thats basically what happened here. The school district is dening any knowledge of this bullying but according to freddyfans mother they had many meetings. He was supposed to be going to the councler but she was on maternity leave.
If you ask me this is not just freddyfans fault it is the school district and probly his family too :mad:

I live in Lebanon PA, which is about 45 minutes from where FreddyFan lived, and they are talking about it on the news!! I have been checkin out all the threads regarding this subject, and i too would like to say that everyone is awesome for the way they handled this, they honestly stopped Freddy from hurting anyone and himself!!! They are sayin on the news that they arrested him at school, and he had a knife in his bag, when asked why he said He was being bullied at school and planned to get back at them. As of right now Freddy has been released to his mother, and is seeking professional counciling, and therapy, but he will probably be expelled from school, and will most likely recieve somekind of charges. So best of luck to Freddy to get his life straight, and once again great job to everyone that tried and did help!!

There's an update. They showed his picture on TV and everything and it was just sad. They talked to his mom who was surprisingly nonchalant. I looked at him and just shook my head. Cute little blonde kid with glasses and a big toothy smile.

What's odd about the second news report (the one pasted earlier in the thread) is she wouldn't appear on TV to protect his identity but on the other one she appeared and there was a picture showed of them. Thought I would give you guys an update for whoever is interested. Freddyfan is finally done with the court stuff. He got 6 mon. probation. for several reasons. The meds he was on, The teacher that it turns out was not fond of him and was doing things to him she shouldn't be. and the fact that he has been doing so well in treatment, And has been good while under house arrest these past months.

This all took place way back when I was under my first (of thus far 3) incarnations - cheebacheeba. Maybe 6 months after I initially joined...

They went after me because I told him he should go kill himself a week or so before everything happened, when his problems with school/life were first becoming evident, Remember?
I was the biggest asshole on the net for a while there, I think I even made certain internet news articles...that's why I was attacked...even though I did my best to point out (again and again) that I'd told him almost immediately that I was joking, and that FF and I were cool from then on...I remember trying to tell him that the whole school deal is never fun, and to try to stick with it for at least a while...he isn't a BAD kid, just an example of what fucked up treatment at the hands of inconsiderate teachers and asshole teenagers can do...
As for me getting attacked, I wasn't all that concerned - I held my own ok...all it was was a mixture of the regular anti-horror assholes that lie in wait for something like this to happen, and then there was those that were simply ignorant to the ENTIRETY of the situation, just going on what they'd heard from others.
It's not as though I hadnt admitted what I'd said was innapropriate...but hey, it's not like they were actually reading anything I had to say in the first place either...
I dunno why Arioch was targetted, but I do remember that - most likely because he wasn't going to be abused over something so petty, and tore the shit outta the stupid motherfuckers like the rest of us did.
It was so funny how they came in all judgemental, didn't even TRY to keep the discussion sensible, and ended up having their highand mighty asses handed to them in an argument that there was no need for in the first place.

And then the slew of rumours and myth grew around it, making it become all but an urban legend with more variations than pizza...THAT was what pissed me off the most...
