So I just read on a wrestling website that there's "heavy talks" regarding a new Predator film. The basic plot thus far is that Dutch's [Arnold] son is all grown up and encounters a Predator of his own or something like that. Right now all signs point to WWE's John Cena as the lead role.
Can anyone say "horrible" ?

Yes, that does sound fairly bad. However... I'm a big fan of Predator 2, which is widely regarded to be a terrible movie. I'm willing to watch a lot of crap just to see the Predator kill a lot of people.
With my luck though, it'll be rated PG-13.

I dont know about Predator 2, I never bothered to watch it. But Predator 1 sucked BALLS. I hated that movie. Oooo, invisible figure killing peple.
Not to mention, after AVP I regard Predator as a pussy.

I don't think Predator was trying to be scarry, its filed under action. Basicly Preadtor was just a big testosterione filled film with Arnold and Jesse "The Body". Preadtor 2 had more story to, but the acting and the way the story evolved was weak so I consider it to be an o.k. movie.
Whats good about the Predator is the idea and the look of the alien itself. I'm a fan of the original Preadtor but AVP. I think most people know my feels about AVP by now.
Also the way movies are going at this rate it probably will be
PG-13 which sucks major balls!

Your right, he was a pussy after he teamed up with the chick!
You know somebody ota punch the director in the face, he said in several interviews how he was a fan of the two genureas (sorry about spelling). in my opinon he didn't give either series due credit at all!

Sounds like it could be good with lots of killing if it's made R which I'm sure it will be. Cena is a big guy and could play the char. well (I hope he doesn't step in front of the Predator and say "You can't see me!".) This one could go either way. Heh, a wrestler in Predator 1 and 3, interesting.

Exactly. And we barely get any shots of his bad-assness, because he's invisible the whole damn movie! And when you think about it, it's kind of wussy to be invisible, when you know you could kick human ass while being visible.

You've got to love Stan Winston, any decent creature effect is done by him or his workshop. They really didn't use this to the full advantage in the Predator films.
I quite liked AVP but they should never EVER have Team Predator-Homo Sapiens. We are like ants to them not fucking comrades in arms.

think about it this way
what would be the ultimate predatory camouflage.... partial/full invisibility. This is the predators greatest defence being able to mix with its surroundings.

Never know, it could be OK. So long as it's a sequel, not a remake.
