There was a time in the great and storied history of HDC when Tournaments were abundant. Today, few remain. To the rescue, I ressurect an idea from WAY back in my Vampenguin days....
THE ALL-AROUND FILM TOURNAMENT....VOL 2!!!
This tournament is comprised of 64 matches....the competitors will be 128 classic, influential, or just completly random films. Most genres will be represented, though there is a lack of foreign cinema.
Matches will last until either entrant recieves 5 votes. Please base your votes however you like, choose the overall better film or your persional favourite of the two....it's all up to you!
And without further ado,
Let the games begin!
The_Return

Starting out with a good match. Matches are chosen at random, by the way. Some will be very close while others will be no contest what so ever.
Anyway.

As a matter of fact, I was having a hard time choosing the 128 films for the tounament, so I went to YOUR Top 100 list in your signature, and used quite a few films off that. Your entire Top 10 is in the tournament, as well as many others.:D
Also - This isnt to determine Best Movie Ever or anything, just all in good fun to see what comes out on top.

Not even Vulgar!? (Only saying that because I haven't seen it so I'm secretly looking for some quip that may give me a hint as to how it is.)
Anyway, One Flew Over for sure... Nurse Ratchet is one of the most heaartless chars. I've ever seen and I think it may have been the first villian I actually got angry at. I mean, I actually wanted to kill her, very well played. Great movie! Yes Sin City was good but the charecters just weren't as memorable for me.
