Creepshow Rises From Dead
Warner Brothers is developing a remake of Creepshow, the 1982 horror anthology movie written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Roy Lee and Doug Davison of Vertigo Entertainment will produce, along with Taka Ichise of OZ LA and Tony Ludwig. James Dudelson, the original rights holder, also is attached to produce, the trade paper reported.

Unlike the original film, in which the stories were unconnected, the plan is to structure the new movie a la Go, where individual stories will have interconnected characters and situations. The project is out to writers.

Creepshow 3 is being made by a bunch of no-name, no talent, hollywood losers that are only making the fillm for money. It's going to be a low-budget movie with horrible actors.

Don't expect it to be a real movie. Just more Hollywood scum turning a great horror series to a piece of shit.

"Banned And Damned" is a real scary movie.

Joking, but go to related topics, or create your own topic, and hope to get your answers :)

I'm sure I could state my views on this remake, but I run the risk of starting to sound like a broken record. My question is this: if they're going to change the fundamental concept of the movie, why even call it Creepshow? Just to cash in on name recognition?

But you never know. It could turn out well. I think a new sequel would be a better idea though.

This is what I was thinking as well.
Keep the original format because those of us that grew up with the comic, really liked the way the movie mirrored this.
