I am concerned that this nominee (Harriet Miers) will
not fully support women's issue .. particularly in
terms of abortion and any other issues that may come
up over the next 20 or so years. I found this link in

I don't see any reason that it would come as a surprise to anybody in the country that GW would select a pro-life nominee.

Of course he picked a conservative person to be a judge, he's a conservative president. It seems like a no-brainer....

Harriet Miers is not a bad candidate because of her views on controversial issues.

Harriet Miers a bad candidate because she's underqualified. Bush puts people he knows who support him in jobs they don't deserve. All this lady's really got behind her belt is the Texas lottery. Even republicans are pissed about this, not because they don't think she'll take their position on big issues, but because it's an insult.

My personal opinion is that there isnt one person in govt. that is qualified to do the job that they are given. All the people that are qualified are smart enough to stay away from politics.

Would I ever get into politics??? FUck no!!!! I dont need to be dragged thru the mud and put my family thru hell because of my religious beliefs, lifestyle choices and so on.

The Constitution is pretty clear to me. We dont need 9 thinkers sitting around trying to interpret what we already know.

Just remember 45% of govt. is waste and corruption.

I left the Democrats and joined the Republicans this year beause I have watched the Democratic party become dominated by people like this.

I cant get over just how high the Asian crime rate has risen in this country..
everything from stealing our sea food and shipping them back to asia via courier..raking in the $$s as well as collecting our benefits...beating and killing,
then taking off back to asia under a false name using stolen passports...paying instructors for fake licenses..sending drugs
hidden in java lamps...copying label clothing.Our govt is too soft on overseas criminals...look at that dude from london who was convicted for abduction..but had his deportation overturned..
What about the islander who decapitated another at the fleamarket in full public veiw and has his deportation over turned.
The recent claw hammer attack ..that poor fucking truck driver...has to wait a few more weeks cos not all the rights from the attacker has not been met..who by the way is out on bail...shocking stats nz.
When the hell are we going to start actually doing something about it..even that pakistani who paid a newzealander to take flying lessons in order to obtain a license to become a pilot!!
