i've seen other vbulletin forums using the quick reply box at the ends of the threads. have y'all considered impementing them here? it makes it faster for floks to reply to threads and is quicker for those still stuck with dial up since they dont have to load a new page just to post. its just a thought!

They are awesome.
My husband is in this battlefield2 clan and thier site has one of those.
He gets majorly pissed off at me in there cos I only joined in July and already I lead the board.
Now I think I am a goddamned expert on the bloody game when in actual fact..I know stuff all..lol

no, a quick reply box sits at the bottom of a thread and intead of hitting post reply and going to a new screen, you just type your reply into the box. it saves loading time (for the poor folks who use dial-up) and ,IMO, just easier than going to a whole seprate page to post a reply. i know the v-bulletin system offers it, its just a matter of whomever is in charge of changing the board options to want to do it.:)

well the shoutbox is like a huge msn in the forum...everybody reads and replies in an instant..its quite kewl.
