How is that album ? man, they never record music.

I hate rap, but I've always loved Bloodhound gang. Jimmy pop's lyrics are nothing less then amazing. I am dead serious. Even their song writing structure is impressive for being a "joke" band. Very talented bunch.

I'm totally in love with Demon Days - i really like the earlier Gorillaz album (even bought one of the remix - Space Monkeys vs. Gorillaz) but Demon Days is such a pure concept album with so many good songs - totally agree.

I'm also listening to the new White Stripes - Get Behind me Satan
and the new Bob Mould - Body of Song (both of which I'm enjoying very much).

I'm also utterly impatient for a new AC/DC album which is rumoured to be recording in New York. . . hurry hurry

Hell's yeah. It's like, a billion times better than "Tempo Of The Damned". I hated "Tempo Of The Damned" though, but most people think it's their best.

I'm getting into the new Opeth album more now. It'll never top Morningrise but I think it's pretty damn good on its own merits.

Morningrise? Are you joking? That has to be their worst. I think what you meant to say is that it'll never top "My Arms, Your Hearse". That's the shit right there.

Anywho, just picked up some new Berzerker. That shit is brutal, best of their albums yet.

Different strokes, man. For me, I preferred the earlier Opeth albums, with the extremely long and progressive song structures. I love their more recent records as well though. Seriously, if it says "Opeth" on the cover, it's pretty much a guarantee of quality.

I disagree...I think Korns latest has been their BEST in a while, but yknow, whatever...difference of opinions, but I personally haven't liked any of their last say, 3 releases prior to this one that much at all, Follow the Leader being their last album I was really into.

I don't know how new it is, but I've been listening to
Disturbed - 10,000 Fists, and it's definately a lot better than believe, taking the best elements from their two last albums and combinbing them. Very good effort. The sickness is still my favourite, but this one comes close.

I guess the way this differs from the "what albums are you sessioning lately" thread is that this one is strictly limited to albums we have recently purchased? or is it more along the lines of, "what has come out lately" kind of new.

anyway, I'll assume it refers to albums I have recently obtained.

Thee Headcoatees- "Sisters of Suave"
Reigning Sound- "Time Bomb High School"
the Marked Men- "On the Outside"

MAYH is only the third album.........

If you haven't picked up Porcupine Tree's new album "Deadwing", do so. Especially if you like Opeth or Dream Theater.

Seriously, this CD kicks my ass.

Korns latest is disappointing, I much preferred the previous two albums but this one does have some great tracks nevertheless.

Agree with you on S.O.A.D. Hyponotize, it always takes me a couple of listens to fully get into their albums but this one is fantastic.
