Being a hardcore punk,I liked AFI very,very much.I was a big fan.......thats until STS.....which was HORRIBLE!

Now I shudder at my collection of AFI CDs,and my AFI T-shirt.
For shame,for shame.

Seriousley,Its not only they've become corporate whores,
they sound awful now.The same people who like all the corporate whore stuff,now likes AFI because they've become pussies too,

Hm. I would agree that their sound is a bit different from past albums, but I don't think they're that big of corporate whores. They're playing the music they want to play and getting money for doing so...can't blame them for that!

Sure, they've got a bigger audience now, but wouldn't want that? Anywho, that's enough outta me...

i agree. i just got in to AFI and no its not cuz of mtv its cuz of a friend of mine whose a big fan of them. i heard it in there car and loved it. i like STS. i saw them on hard rock live and they seemed pretty good to me. davey havok is awesome and i think hes hot!!!( don't want that to sound all school girl crush but i guess it does).

i like AFI but its not cuz of that. i love the music NOT cuz they went "corporate whore". if i like the music then i am hooked but not cuz mtv says i should b. I don't lwet the tv tellm e to listen to this or that i listen to waht i want and i personally like AFI and they r one of the reasons y i wanted to play guitar. if anything they influenced me in a way

so go AFI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
