Cure is quite good actually. It is a serial killer film, although not exactly in the way you would expect. The director, Kiyoshi Kurosawa, is quite talented; many believe him to be the next great Japanese filmmaker. It's definitely worth watching.
could be better
sometimes boring

It's a very good movie with an interesting character (and damn good performance) in Mamiya, but it's all set-up and foreshadowing, no explanation.
If you want to see a GREAT movie that shows that Kiyoshi Kurosawa is the best director in Japan right now (and one of the best directors in the world), find a copy of Kaïro. Easily one of the best horror movies I've ever seen.

There´s only 1 problem with that movie and that´s the locations. You have seriously no fucking idea where the persons are most of the movie. Seemed to me like the director didn´t bother to explain. Wouldn´t exactly call that GREAT direction.
But other than that the movie was great. Had 1 or 2 very creepy moments.:)
