This game is by no mens NEW anymore...but I thought I'd enlighten those that may not have heard of it.
It's called Postal 2, a first person shooter from the company "running with scissors."
The original Postal was also highly controversial, and banned in many places. Different style of game
(Like an isometric perspective shooter), but they BOTH pretty much got bad publicity due to their
deliberately excessively violent gameplay, not to mention the title "postal" itself didn't go down well, as
the first game came out slightly after a postal worker going...well...postal.
But anyway...if you're not easily offended, postal 2 is worth a look.
The "missions" aren't great, and the maps aren't even all that good....as a matter of fact, you wil be both bored
and pissed off if you ply this game through the missions as intended. However...the beauty of this game is simply
how DAMN GOOD it is to vent.
Go and kick some people in the face, kick 'em to death even...attack people with a shovel, piss on them and
watch them vomit, or, if you're feeling like something a little more "interesting" how about throwing scissors at people?
Infecting them with anthrax? dousing them with gasoline and lighting them? You can even behead people, including police, and kick
the heads around like soccer balls. That and, you get to kick Gary Colemans ASS!
So...go through the missions is you're at a loose end...they aren't THAT bad...but if you just feel like letting the world
have it, fuck the missions and get into some mayhem.
MANY people to kill, and many ways to do it. Here's a taste, we'll start with something you'll ALL wanna see:
