Britney's Fans Speak Up With Criticisms
Britney Spears' fans on the Internet seem split between joy at her new baby and outrage at how she delivered.
One fan on a Spears' fan site said she almost cried when she heard Spears gave birth to a boy. Another said she was going to pass out at any moment, and yet another said she was so happy that her heart was pounding.
Other fans are berating Spears for having a Caesarean section.
Spears had told Elle magazine she wanted to deliver by C-section because she didn't want to go through pain. She had said her mother told her giving birth was "the most excruciating thing she's ever gone through in her life."
One fan said Spears' decision was "100 percent stupidity." Another fan said any doctor who would schedule a C-section because someone was afraid of labor "is a quack."

I was in labor for 3 days with Seri, and 2 days with Alex before it was determined that natural childbirth was simply impossible...Both of MY C-Sections were performed on an emergency basis, because the long labor seriously stressed the babies...
A C-Section is NOT something you can just CHOOSE to do...That doctor needs to have his license revoked...

and the upside to it -she gets a longer and more painful recovery.
I wonder if she knew all the things that could have gone wrong just because she was "scared?".

Let's just all be content with the fact that her child will undoubtedly grow up to be borderline retarded.

Ordinary? no way. You could spend all day trying to find a brick as dumb as she is.

Ooh, I can answer that!
Because she takes most of her clothes off in front of a camera and grinds around like a whore so that all of America's boys can jerk off in their bedrooms.
...oh yeah, and little girls are stupid and will listen to anything on tv.

So when is her fifteen minutes going to be up? I'm counting down the seconds.
This may be common sense to most people, but troglodytes like Spears should be told that if you aren't willing to experience pain, you shouldn't have children. It's as simple as that.

No no no, not Britney! She won't have to worry about raising the kid, she'll pay someone else to do it.

She's just....there are no words.
She wanted a baby, but didn't want to deal with the pain that went along with it...wanted the "easy way out". Right. If you aren't willing to deal with everything that comes along with having a child (including the birth process), then you shouldn't be having children. She's obviously still just a little immature girl...hardly a woman whose ready to be a mother.
I don't have any kids yet, but I imagine I'm not going to be too worried about the pain when I DO have them...I'm going to be way too happy that I'm actually HAVING A BABY.
I agree with BR....unless it was determined impossible for her to have the child naturally, there should have been no scheduling of a c-section.
My mom's a nurse, and she also said that doctors know better than to do that...and that if she were a "normal" person...it would never have happened.
She needs to go away...I also don't see the appeal, Drac.

you should bring a baby into this world naturally unless of a medical problem , but then again it is her descision at least she didn't get up for adoption or abort it.
