The Notre Dame - Michigan State game was too good.
Notre Dame came back from 21 in the 4th, they still lost in ot though. After that whole 0 for 3 interception for a touchdown thing Brady Quinn was on fire the whole second half...yada yada yada, great game.

Currently, the process is write several pages, get pissed at the shody work-womanship and scrap it to start over.
Theoretically, I've been working on it for years, but technically, I just discovered the write (play on words here, don't miss it) way to go about it. I simply changed my main character.
Okay, you guys help me out here. I'm going to tell you that I'll have something for you at the end of the week. Remind me by putting pm's in my pm box and thusly, reminding me, "Yo, bitch, you need to sit your ass down and write at least three pages."
Can I trust a person to do that?

A mall would be like a fortified house. Comfort, entertainment, weapons, everything. The whole zombie business wouldnt last forever, Id just tough it out in the mall and every now and then kill time by blastin a few from the roof [Looked like way to much fun in the Dawn remake:D]

I'd find the hottest (this is me being shallow here) guy I could, fuck him, and then hole up in a drug store and partake of any morphine based products, write a short story and shoot myself.
I don't deal well with zombies.
Everyone is "Oh, survival, survival!" I would bet that 98% (including you, and you know who you are) of the people on this message board would not survive. It's not because you're incompetent or unworthy. It's because human beings, no matter how many horror movies you've watched, you will never be prepared for the dead getting up, walking around, and eating everyone around you.
Hell, most of you think I'm crazy because I'm a Witch. If you can't possibly wrap your minds around what I do, you certainly won't be able to deal with a zombie outbreak. Your mind would snap.

Personally, I would love a zombie outbreak so if Satan is listening you can unleash one with my blessing.
My plan would be a lot like yours except without the writing and shooting myself. I'm not quite sure what I'd do, probably end up getting eaten. A zombie would be a big fuck you to both science and religion (well maybe not certain smaller religions...). I'd die happier knowing that science was wrong about something. Plus the big zombie slap in the face to certain groups mentioned is a major bonus.
(I'm dizzy, my head feels floaty and weird so hope you can still make sense out of that)

Haha! That's good Dolly. I like your honesty. Except, shooting myself would keep me from being eaten. The first bite would drive me over the edge. I've been violated enough.
I think it would be a Goddess send. God and the Devil play dice all the time, but it's the Goddess that controls how the dice land; at the end of the day, She's the one that lays down the law. She's the Queen of Heaven and the Queen of Hell. Top of the food chain that Lady. My point:D is that when I knocked on Her door after the zombie thing, I think I'd give Her and earful....And then drink some meade.

Ok, so I'm gonna sound stupid here, but this is my question...
So did the movie The Craft kinda get it right? Except for the name, that whole part where they're talking about "If God and the Devil played football, (insert name) would be the field they play it on."... Is it kinda like that?
This is my first time asking about this, so go easy on me.

Well, a playing field is flat. It doesn't encapsulate everything that the Goddess is. The Goddess would be the field, but She would also be God and the Devil, or at least look at Her as their Mother. Even more, She's not only the encapsulation, but the space between and the space around and around and around...then we get the Spiral. Never beginning. Never ending.
If I'm making no sense, I'll try to clarify. However, think of what I'm trying to describe on my terms. Pretty hard, hun?

The Goddess sounds like a badass. Do you pray to her, or light candles or what?
All I know about religion is once a week I eat a cookie and drink wine.

Interesting info Haunted, I love learning about the supernatural(is that an accurate description?).
Haunted
09-19-2005, 03:29 AM
It totally depends on your perspective. For me, nothing can be supernatural, because I don't believe there's anything outside or higher than "NATURE." Nature encompasses everything. That's what the Goddess is.
Now some people believe that there is a "normal" or "natural" world full of rules that, to be frank, we made up. Then in their viewing the is a sort of an unnatural paranatural (para= beyond) world. This, I would wager, is the typical view of most people.
Witches tend to see everything as natural, and Dianic Witches tend to see that everything is the Goddess and of the Goddess. That's natural for us.
The link I listed for IA75, is a shorter description of my Goddess- the Goddess that I believe is SUPREME. (That's called henotheism, by the way... when you believe one Goddess or god is supreme over all others).

**Question re-added for public information, although deemed impossible to answer, by the ever informative Haunted**
For those of you that would like to witness the completely innapropriote, and incendiary "question" that lead to the "conversation" to follow, it went a little something like THIS:
But why GoddESS specifically? I mean, you say that you believe in the whole "nature" thing, right? However, the idea of gender as we perceive it is far preceeded by nature, is it not? So therefore, putting a gender on this entity would seem like a contradiction to your lifestyle, and views on your own perception of reality that you'vr mentioned.
Unless of course you were talking about the figure some referr to as "mother nature", however, this is another "man made" concept, which also conflicts with the points you've made about your beliefs.
I admit, I'm being a nitpicker, but when I spot inconsistancies, I want to understand why, can you explain this all to me?
Haunted
09-19-2005, 06:21 AM
You're not being a nittpicker, you're being an asshole. (Note to moderators: I didn't say that B WAS an asshole. I said he was BEING an asshole)
I'm not saying that to you BECAUSE you're questioning my beliefs. I'm saying it because of WHY you're questioning me. You're doing it, to be a jerk to me. So I'm going to answer your fucking question.
It's my beliefs, and I can believe whatever I want to believe. If I want to believe the world was made by the Goddess, then I can do that.
I don't know where you get believing that I should justify myself to you. It's none of your fucking business. You're just fucking around, trying to make me look stupid (a feat you can't possibly achieve). So ultimately, I'm not getting into a thealogical (not theological) discussion with you, because I can't get in that type scenario using monosyllables to make sure that YOU understand what I'm saying.
Now go to hell.
[To the rest of the forum: If you want the answer to this question, tell me and I will do my very best to explain it. Keep in mind, though, I've only been holding these beliefs for 11 years, and I haven't garnered as much wisdom as I will hopefully. Email, don't pm]

Who's the one throwing a childish tantrum?
Catholics don't like being questioned either...funny comparison, isnt it?
I'm not QUESTIONING anything, I'm merely asking you to explain it so that I might better understand where you're coming from. If you can't do this, then you should be questioning YOURSELF.
If I want to believe the world was made by the Goddess, then I can do that.
Never implied you couldn't, or shouldn't.
Moderators: Ban me if you want, but please don't expect me to put up with this bullshit

Another question for anyone that cares to answer -
Roach spray, not the detterent kind, the "unfriendly" kind.
Apart from killing the creature, what does it "do" that makes the creature die?
Is it just like a massive immersion into poison?
Do they breathe it in? Is it absorbed through the "skin"?
Is it like a nerve gas of some kind?
Does it only affect insects?
Do you think it hurts for them?

Bug spray contains chemicals (including many organophosphate compounds) that bind to and permanently block the action of an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase.
Acetyl choline (ACh) is the nerve transmitter substance released by motor neurones (at a site called the neuromuscular junction) to stimulate muscle contraction.
The muscles relax (stops contracting) when the ACh is removed from the neuromuscular junction (NMJ) by the action of acetylcholinesterase.
By inhibiting the cholinesterase the bug can no longer break down ACh in the NMJ and so its muscles lock up in a state of tetany (continuous contraction) making flying and respiration impossible.
The South American indians used a similar approach to kill animals for food using poison-tipped blow-darts. They discovered the natural chemical curare which blocks the sites on the muscles where ACh usually locks on to activate muscle contraction. Because the ACh cannot activate the muscle the individual becomes paralysed and can then easily be trapped and butchered.
The toxin poses no threat to the people who eat the food because it is denatured (detroyed) by cooking and digestion.
Anaesthetists still use the same class of agents today (drugs including tubocurarine, atrocurium, cis-atrocurium and pancuronium) to paralyse patients during surgery.

Well...thanks for the info there, man...I feel mean when spraying.
I hate even hurting things, I wish I could just like spray something that made 'em wanna leave.
Ah well.
Cats: I don't HATE them, but I don't feel they value interspecies friendship as much as a dog (the main household pet comparison), and they definately show less affection. A cat will be content with your company, but will seem more distant and less attentive. You cannot train them very well, either, and they tend to disrespect your property.
I think the main reason people like them is the entertainment value. Dogs rule. That is all.

Maybe if you're not cat person, they do seem aloof.
But I know my cat adores me-he brings dead animals all the time.
He can be anywhere, but the minute I feel sad-he's there-on my lap...almost like he has ESP
Neil Gaiman wrote this story about a cat that came to live with him and defended his house from the devil.Night after night this cat got torn to shreds, but stayed and protected the family even though the fight was killing it.

We have something like that here, with dogs of all ages, so if yours is the same, maybe you ould pick one up that's past the "difficult" stage?..although I always kinda get teary when I go in and see so many ditched animals, most looking confused, missing their families...you always know that the one you walked away with really needs a home.

It's a cat2 and it's about to go right over the Gulf for about 2 or 3 days isn't that just fucking great.

I quit smoking yesterday. Today is day two. I don't feel well. and I have a tendency towards all things sadistic and/or evil. So please please forgive me if all of a sudden I start shouting at you and using coarse language.

Anything chocolate with that creamy white alien stuffing inside-will help.
Seriously though-
I used to smoke a pack and half a day,and when I quit- every time I got a craving,I would do 20 crunches.
Now I puff a few drags on a cig when I drink and that's not something I do enough of latey IMO.

My sister quit smoking when I was in High School, and she was irratable for more than a week. It sucked, I had to come home to her screaming every day.
So get ready, its gonna last a while.

Ok,here's some bang-on advice.

Anything that ails you, this co. has a tea for it.
I have used this brand for 5 years now and have had amazing results...especially the Throat Coat-I feel the first sign of a sore throat, drink this tea as reccommended and boom, the next day-no sore throat.
Also, just for the winter bugs that are starting to make their rounds.
Get the highest mg. ESTER C you can find and take up to 10,000 mg. when you FIRST start feeling bad.I know it sounds high, but the FDA is LYING to you...yes,it's shocking that they would actually lie....but even the drug dealers-I mean Doctors agree that the average vit.C consumption thru pills is too low to be beneficial.
B-12 sublingually at 2500mcg is good as well, unless you have any liver or heart probs-ask your doc about this one first,or just get the giant needled B-12 shot in the ass.
Ladies-add E,Selenium,Some type of Fish Oil(I use Salmon Oil 2000mg. 2X a day)
I am writing this because I am genuinely concerned for people's health
.. and to those who think it's bullshit:piss off and die,I hate you,get the stick outta your ass and live a little-be nice for once you waste of air.
