I think I saw this at Best Buy the other day (well I know Kill Baby Kill was on there for sure). I almost picked it up, I guess now I am glad I didn't.

Wait, it is a Bava film? I should have picked it up then, I know almost nothing about Bava, have always meant to check them out.
But I am not sure it is the same film, I thought all the movies in the collection I saw were 70's/80's.

Kill Baby Kill is probably the best of the bunch...fairly spooky, a little slow compared to the lightning-fast crap they make today, but it does work, and it is Bava.
Pieces is embarassing, but not bad with a six-pack. If you don't have the six-pack, well, god help ya.
Devil's Nightmare...hoo boy. Well, some people like it! I kinda...how do I say this...it's a little dry for me. Nice cuties though.
Sounds like a Brentwood Studios deal.

However this was bad even for college kids movies. I mean, Weasels Rip My Flesh, They Dont Cut The Grass Anymore and Long Island Cannibal Massacre were filmed on an even lower bugdet, and were much more enjoyable.

I've seen Pieces, and I thought it really wasn't that good. Could be fun if you have a few drinks and a few friends over, though. Give it the MST3K treatment.

I loved it. Ah, a fellow MiSTie. Frankly, I'd be happy if they'd just release all the episodes on DVD. New episodes are almost too much to hope for. It would be great though, wouldn't it?

I actually like the movie pieces alot, alot of people disagree with me on this but I thought it was pretty cool.
Those movies sounded familiar so when i got home i checked my DVD's and lo and behold....i own that collection.....i've only watched one movie on it so far.

AVOID THIS ONE - The only good movie on it is a 60 min documentary called "Something to Scream about" - its about low budget b-movie scream queens. I heard skinned alive is a small cult favorite, but i wasnt able to get into it-shut it off after 20 min.

I own all 4 of those. I'd say that Pieces is the best out of that lot.

Most of them are retarded but it's usually like the price of 1 movie so even if 1 of them turns out to be good, it makes it worthwhile. That's the way I look at it. I've bought a few of those.
Hell of the living dead (1981) aka Virus is the worst movie I watched recently
Dull and boring
:D

I got the 10 pack:
'Deep Red, The Hatchet Murders'
'Christmas Evil'
'Web of the Spider'
'Circus of Fear'
'House on the Edge of the Park'
'Messiah of Evil'
'Die, Sister, Die !' (no relation to Kill, Baby, Kill !' btw)
'Lady Frankenstein'
'The Werewolf and the Vampire Woman'
'Sisters of Death'
I still dig 'Kill, Baby, Kill !'. It has an old time look and feel that films today don't have.
