Man Killed In Factory's Blender
U.K. - A 42-year-old man died when he fell into a large blender at a chemical works plant in Greater Manchester.
The incident, described as "horrendous" by the county fire service, happened on Wednesday morning at Building Chemical Research on Mount Sion Road, Radcliffe.
Thirteen firefighters with heavy duty cutting equipment were sent to free the man and an emergency medical team of nurses and doctors was called.
But the man, who was from Radcliffe, died in the machine.
The police said they did not believe there were any suspicious circumstances.
The Health and Safety Executive will investigate the incident.
