im going to my first concert on Oct 5th. well its a club concert. the following bands will be there

Unearth
The Dillinger Escape Plan
ZAO
A life once lost


the best part is that it cost 15 dollars cause it is sponserd by a local store called CI records

I just saw Into the Moat, Soilent Green, and Watch them Die.. Kick ass show.!

My first concert was Thice headlining, with Hot Water Music and Coheed and Combria opening... best concert ever. I got tattoos of Coheed and HWM, savin' up for the Thrice tat... It seriously was a life changing experience.

It was 1972....i was just a lad of 14....the concert hall went dark as pitch.....a bright light,bright as a billion candles suddenly appeared in the center of the stage.....the sounds of mighty engine engulfed the arena..........ladies and gentelman....give it up for GRAND FUNK RAILROAD!

Couple years back a went to my 1st show....hate these bands now, but liked 'em at the time.

Rancid[These guys really sucked, hadnt even heare of 'em before]

Actually, on the contrary, Rancid is my favorite band. They're amazing.

Oh well...

Anyway, my first was Less Than Jake, and get this: the opening bands, no one had ever heard of, and everyone at the concert thought they sucked, and we figured they'd never go anywehre.

The bands were Yellowcard and Fall Out Boy, the two biggest sellout MTV bands out right now. It's kind of incredible actually. But I still hate them both...

My first concert was the new Misfits in 1997, with Process is Dead, From Ashes Rise and Embodiment opening. Say what you will about the new 'Fits, but that was a truly awesome show.

I migt like 'em now, but at the time I hated them. But at the time I loved Sum 41, had never heared of The Misfits, and didnt know anything by Alice Cooper besides School's Out. I might need to check 'em out again.

But im seeing my favorite band of all time on the 5th..got my ticket already, all rides are planned out. Got money. Not going to fall through this time..His Infernal Majesty here i come! Oh and i get to see Skindred as well, another band i actually like.

:eek: Rad! That would've been the Master Of Puppets tour. I saw some of that on the Cliff 'Em All vid. That concert would've kicked your ass! Cliff Burton would have to be my favorite bassist. I was watching Newstead on the Binge and Purge set (the 1988 concert in Seattle) his solo on that is fucking amazing.

First concert I saw was probably about 1995. Sponge opened, followed by Our Lady Peace, and then Candlebox.

I wasn't especially in to any of them but it was a good show. It sure as hell opened the floodgates for me... I've probably been to like 50 concerts now...
