A word of warning here: Scarecrow is flat-out terrible. One of the very few horror films I've been totally unable to find anything to like about. Bloody Moon I haven't seen, but it's directed by Jess Franco, so it could be promising.

I dont think I'd get either one of them, Scarecrow sucks. And I havnt heard enough about Bloody Moon to buy it. But its up to you.

I'm one of the few people who liked Scarecrow. I say, if it's for a reasonable price, buy it. If not, screw it! It's not great, just a way to pass some time. Haven't seen Bloody Moon yet.

Stay away from Scarecrow...PU! What a smelly turd that movie is (however, it's better than Scarecrow Gone Wild). If you like Franco, Bloodt Moon is one of his best (that's not really saying much though.

As a lover of bad movies, I sort of enjoyed "Scarecrow." I would never tell you it's a good movie--but, if you like cheesily-executed monster revenge fantasies with fake cartoonlike characters, you might have fun with it.

That's exactly how I felt when I watched Scarecrow. Cheesy, mindless fun! :D

Scarecrow is a terrible movie, but I own it because its a fun watch. If its cheap, pick it up.

Bloody Moon is one of Franco's more accessible efforts, including a protracted band-saw head-slicing bit which is quite nice.

Well, how much is Scarecrow? If it's five dollars, I say buy. If more than 5, I say hide. Oh, and if you do buy Scarecrow and you didn't like it, return it and say it was broken. :p :D

....i LOV low budget horror..jack frost...terror toons...dead and rotting etc etc...its fun..BUTTT scarecrow slayer blew my mind away.......HOW DID SUCH A HORRIBLE MOVIE GET RELEASED??? Its bad an every level..the effecst they attempted to use were photoshoped...im convinced..i cant even speak o fthis film..just please rent it...(which is equivalent to wiping your ass with the money and flushing it)...and get the best example on the market of BAD CINEMA....

like i said..ive seen the lowest of the low..with low budget films..and this one..takes the cake....

anybody seen "The Final Cut"...?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364343/

I like some of R. Williams acting ...did decent roles in "Insomnia" (2002) and "One Hour Photo" (2002)....

"The Final Cut" worth buying..or at least renting ?

Avoid the first movie and check out the second one. It's worth at least a rent.

I found the Norwegian version to be a little better than the American remake. For what it's worth though, I still think the remake is a pretty good flick. Robin Williams actually did a pretty good job, as he has in his dramatic roles since, which was a pleasant surprise for me.

..me too...but I dont like his funny roles....actually I hated his funny parts...but as you say a pleasant suprise..hope he does only serious roles in the future...a worst senario is is he teams up with Spielberg again..and they do a comedy..or dumb childish adventure movie like "Hook" (1991) .....
