Horrorcore is a genre of horror and gore literature. Its very very extreme almost always brutal and taboo horror writing. Go to http://www.wrathjameswhite.com/main.htm there is some short stories in there that can give you a taste of horrorcore.

Edward Lee wrote Teratologist and Goon, two books I'm currently trying to get a copy that doesn't cost $50
btw, I thought "horrorcore" was a lame made-up MUSIC genre...

Yeagh.. and I guess it is a lame lit genre also. Edward Lee is sick..I really like his stuff. Have you read Cows? That is the problem with the mega gore stuff it is very expensive to purchase.

it's official. Teratologist is impossible to get at a reasonable price. The absolute lowest price at which I've even heard of anyone having it is $30
