I have seen recently this great Italian short horror entitled Xchange, but so far all I have found is a website (www.thesilentium.com) and not much else about this little jewel. I saw it in Sitges where people went crazy about it. As usual shorts disappear after festivals, but maybe some of you knows a little bit more about it. I'm a big horror fan and I can tell you it's rare to see something like this, especially out of Italy that is kind of dull insofar as filmmaking innovation is concerned.

I'm always amazed by all the one time posters who just happen to be looking for some great film that only they've ever heard of and seem to know everything about it including it's home web site, but need to ask here about it. Try google to find your "little jewel", spammer

You're right Italians have never really been able to make any good films but yours...oh I mean this ''little jewel'' you found is probably far better than anything Argento,Bava,Leone,Martino, Fulci,Marghereti,Soavi ect. ect. have ever done.

Thank you, Austin. It's true, a lot of mediocre stuff from Italy, but also some good ones. For example Pupi Avati, did you see "The house of the laughing windows"? It's an old movie set in the Italian countryside, really scary.

Dear Sadistro, well I thought this would be the right place forome advice. I have bought a few of the collections published by Fangoria and also one by the New York City Horror. It's great when these shorts get published and people can view them.

By the way, I checked the site of the Italian guy, filmhorror.com... really crappy.

Fair enough...but I heavily doubt there will be any sensible conversation about movies coming from someone who thinks they're better than Sergio Leone, then to add onto that you're a spammer.

I'm no spammer. I just think there shouldn't be an automatic bias against Italian films. Besides, I have the right to have my opinion even if you think it's stupid. Again, I'm here to have fun, to meet new friends and to discuss the only type of movies I watch - horror.

Your first post was an advertisement for your short without ever contributing or establishing yourself first, that's what we call a spammer there for you are a spammer.

You have to go from site to site advertising your short which has been seen nowhere else but a few festivals in Italy but you're better than Sergio Leone. Now come on...you seriously expect anyone to think that it's not stupid?(which for the record I never said)

As far as being bias against Italian films, I think it was you who said it's rare for anything good to come from Italy and it was me who mentioned a handful of great Italian directors.

I assure you the movie I posted about it's not mine - I wish it was!!! Mine - called "My personal fears" - is such a crappy little dv experiment that not even my friends want to see it. I showed it even to a festival (who knows how they ever decided to select it) where they made fun of me from start to end. If I wanted to really spam I would have posted about my shitty stuff, not someone else's short. However, I apologize if I gave that impression and I will be careful in the future about posting stuff that can be considered spam. At least give me the benefit of the doubt....
