Is there going to be an Evil Dead 4? I was just checking some horror sites and saw this. Anyone else heard it too?

Ok, thanks I heard it on one of those horror sites but you never know.
Well, technically...
There will be the ED remake first... then and ED 4 starring Campbell to follow, once Raimi is done with the spiderman flics.

I don't think an Evil Dead 4 will happen. Been teasing us with that one forever, going back and forth on the issue. Raimi doesn't have the time and I honestly don't think Campbell has the inclination. Let's face it, how much longer can they wait before making a new one before the idea becomes absurd? I was really hoping the remake would never happen.....*sighs* but oh well.

I seriously doubt if this will ever really happen. Bruce Campbell's doing some awesome stuff these days (can't wait for Man with the Screaming Brain!), but he's a little too long in the tooth and round in the belly to go back to playing Ash. All a sequel would do is remind us how much time has passed since the originals were made... don't turn into Star Trek.
The Evil Dead movies are perfect, leave them be. Besides, I'm actually a lot more excited to see Raimi do another Spiderman movie.
