I honestly dont like the movie because it reminded me of a demented "real world" person confessing in front of a camera all the time. BUT I really loved that he was bashing people and was so whatever about his killing.

The rule of thumb seems to be 1 out of 10 horror movies made after the 80 are good.

more like 1 out of 100.
horror is the most suffering genre out there.
its what they give untried directors and actors to do under contract.
either that or a bunch of film students who think they are going to make the next halloween - without the benefit of any practical experience in anything - especially acting talent.
it is the toughest genre (next to comedy) but it is given the least amount of respect.
being a horror fan (in your 40's) is a bitch ..
whan you're a kid its ok because kids will watch anything and if someone dies or there is a flash of tit, they eat that shit up.
i havent isolated myself as a horror fan - i'm a film fan so i expect the same level of competacy from horror as i do any other genre of film.

Hell I am only 25 and I already feel the way you do. I have to say I am a film fan as well BUT the majority of my collection is horror. I think the last "new" movie I bought was the Dawn of the Dead remake. New movies dont interest me unless the are made in the oldschool way. :-D I will always be a 70`s horror fan.
