I was watching yesterday and who was that guy who owned the cenobites and Pinhead?

God damn I was suprised as all hell somebody took Pinhead out that quick.

Pinhead tried to beat him with Chains and the guy just ripped them apart, and it looked like even Pinhead was intimidated.

Was that Leviathan?

well, long story
the creature is doctor channard

the cenobites thought of their earlyer life (cause of the pictures kirsty shows them)
it is a rule that they don't think of earlyer lifes, so leviathan deceides they have to be punished, so he sends doctor channard to kill all of them
(you don't see leviathan, it's the cube like thing that spins around I guess)

now, since pinhead dies, he isn't bound to the rules of the box anymore in the next hellraiser, this means, he gets summon, then he stays, normally they kill the one who summoned them and leave again

hope I gave you an answer

Thanks, but how does Pinhead come back in the next one? Who summons him? And how is Dr. Channard more powerful then Pinhead?

well, to answer the first question
Pinhead's pure evil survived, if he had anything good in him, it's gone, also, you gotta taker it like a horror movie

2nd question, no idea, I guess leviathan made channard strongen or something

Thanks for your interpretation. I was also pretty confused by what was going on in that flick. I liked some parts but not others. It just got really confusing once they got into the hell dimension with Leviathan and all. Is there a book adaptation with better explanations or an enhanced DVD I wonder?

I did some research on hellraiser for my msn community, I looked at like 100 websites on hellraiser
this is the most logic one I could find on a site

just try to browse the web, you'll be amazed of what to find out there
I have a whole explanation of the cube and shit on my site

Hi.

Great forum you guys have here. Seeings how this is my first post, i'll go ahead and throw my two cents in on Hellbound:)

The channard cenobite was so powerful because his tentacle was like Leviathan's power, direct on tap, so-to-speak. After killing off Pinhead, The evil that was xipe totec (pinhead's essence through the decades) was imprisoned in the torture pillar seen at the end of Hellbound. It eventually turned into the 'Pillar of Souls' seen in Hell on Earth. Elliot was then sent to whatever plane of being he went to, until the time he inevitably reUnited with his other self, pinhead.

But again, just my two cents~difficult to really say whats what because with the movies going in different directions, and the comics being in the mix. . .no one can be totally correct.:)
