They've remade "The Blob", "House on Haunted Hill", "Psycho", "Night of the Living Dead", and even "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"...What do you think should be remade next? I personally would like to see updated versions of "Rosemary's Baby" and "Nosferatu"...

I hate seeing movies be remade. it's pointless. just leave the damn things alone. I heard they're making an amityville horror remake. those damn bastards should of never touched amityville horror. but u know wat? they did. and now they're going to pay.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, life moves pretty fast....wait, wrong quote. I think they should remake movies that sucked but had potential for greatness.

Thanks, Ferris... it's good to have you back.

Anyway...Now that you mention it, Rayne...Rosemary's Baby could be a nice remake...especially because I hate Mia Farrow. (Mostly due to her poor acting in The Great Gatsby).

The guy who did High Tension(Alexandre Aja) is doing the The Hills Have Eyes remake, that's a good sign.

Holy old thread ressurection, batman!

I wouldnt mind seeing some worthwhile remakes of old crappyu movies (Like John Carpenter did with the Thing)

I would love to see a modern remake of Day of the Triffids... One of my favorite cheesy apocalypse movies.

yeah it is a good choice ...

BUT - they cant fuck it up like they did with this new War of the Worlds.

i dont want a modern version - i want to see it take place in the same time/place as the novel..

That i guaruntee would happen. it would be set in the modern era, with plasma missles and p-90s being used to fight mutant plants that move like spiderman....

One can always dream though.

and the triffids will be able to talk ... and there will be one 'super brain' triffid .. and they can absorb people and take over them and assume their identities,

and some guy will fall in love with some girl, and there will be a weirdo scientist, and ... and .... and ...

I always thought "The Fog" could use a facelift. Looks like their working on it as we speak.....er...type.
"The Creature from the Black Lagoon" would be another.
"The Legend of Hell House"....it would have to be much better than "The Haunting" remake.
