Tv movie, eh? But is it good?

I hated "House by the cemetary"..... But you will probably love it.

why would you even buy movies by Fulci if you are not a fan.

Because i´m a true horror fan.;)

But i draw the line when it comes to Argento. I simply can´t stand his B-movies.

I guess I am just a big Italian horror fan. I mean Fulci does have some movies I dislike and Argento as well but very few.

Have you seen Opera.?

I like it . IMO it is Argento`s best film.

Three words to describe it: Needles, Duct Tape, Eyes

I recommend it to anyone who loves torture.

I've seen City of the living dead,The beyond,House by the cemetary,Zombie and Zombi3, but My favorite Lucio Fulci film is Zombie or Zombie 2.It was the first Italian horror film I had ever seen. The eye gouging scene really made me cringe. ;)

From the horror side of Lucio Fulci's creations:
the Beyond
City of the Living Dead

From the giallo side:
Murder to the Tune of the Seven Black Notes
(To me, one of his best giallo films.)
Beatrice Cenci
(Quite impressive. Lucio Fulci could almost have been ahead of his time with the way the film was edited.)

i have to admit i'm not a big fan of Fulci. I keep buying the movies to see if my perception will change - but nothing so far ..

everything always looks so cheap - compared to Argento (who i do like)

I prefer Soavi to Fulci too...

The whole reason for purchasing dvds for me is to see horror films that I haven't yet. Not all of them are gems, but its worth it to know the bad as well as the good.

I saw "Demons" in 1985 in the theater. If I remember correctly, there is a scene where a full-size demon climbs out of the back of a chick. It was a pretty cool effect at the time (and original)

Anyway, couldn't have been any worse than "I spit on your grave":)

Demons rules but that's because it's not Fulci. (Written by Argento, directed by Bava)

Fulci is almost as over-rated as Phantasm. I hate sitting through his slow paced, boring movies just to get to one or two scenes of mediocre gore.

To be fair though, Zombi 3 has some of THE funniest dubbing I've ever heard. The scene where the soldiers are following the bus full of girls is priceless.

I'm not a big Fulci fan either and I have tried to give the films a fair shake, watched a couple several times. But I finally gave up. I am however a huge Argento fan.
