Hello all! I've been a fan of this site for years. I've recently finished a third phase of graduate school in film where I mainly studied Italian horror. I'm very interested in employment in the area of horror film. I would be most suited for a marketing or research job but would consider anything at first. Please tell me anything you know!!

I don't want to sound rude...but I'm not sure why you're asking us. Seems to me that if you're in graduate school, your professors...counselors....etc. will have the answers you're looking for. Try getting an internship through your school. Alot of times, all you have to do is ask and somebody is more than willing to help you out.

When I was in college, I know that I had access to plenty of valuable resources...after all, you're paying for it....so get your money's worth...:)

I know you are the only noob to ever start off with one post that's in 2 wrong forums (didn't think that was humanly possible), came here looking for work, claimed there's a university or such somewhere that teaches giallo as a course, and annoyed, yet, intrigued me with this. I can't technically say you spammed yourself here and don't have any pics premade to that effect. Very strange indeed.

Well, it's obvious from this post that no one here understands the academic advising system, academia as a whole, or the film industry. I don't appreciate the anger or bitterness expressed simply because someone asked a reasonable question. People do get jobs with arts and humanity degrees in the country. I have already had several. Keep on enjoying your lives as miserable b*st*rds. P.S. You don't pay to get your doctorate, the school pays you. Later....

No you fucking don't pay to get your doctorate. You get a stipedn and a fellowship at any reputable school. College is not graduate school. I know. I have a fellowship and so does every other doctoral student. You were rude and gave me bad advice. Thanks a lot.
