Yes, I've seen it and I have read the book. The book is better, but the movie is decent. Very sad story but the movie does kind of lack impact (that could simply be because I read the book first though). Definitely worth checking out though, I think.

Haven't heard of it. But, if I spot it somewhere, I'll get it and tell ya wat I thought of it. I'm a big of Hopkins, so either way I would've seeing it.

I really liked it at the time. It was one of the first movies I'd seen on re-incarnation. Anthony Hopkins was great in it. I also read the book.........the movie was basically the same. :)

I remember seeing this a very long time ago, and it stuck with me. Dunno why. Just the image of the little girl beating her hands against the windows, and the burns. Good stuff, though I would not say it is a horror movie. More of a psycho/supernatural drama. Isn't it supposed to be based on a true story?

Thought I heard that once. Meh...

Anthony Hopkins makes it worth seeing. However, you might want to turn the volume down... that little girl has some seriously eardrum-piercing screams. And she screams A LOT, all throughout the movie.

I agree: The book was better. Same deal with another Anthony Hopkins horror, Magic. If you haven't seen the movie (which is great because of him), read the book first!
