What have you guys picked up on Vinyl latley? I've decided to start a new collection again after parting with my old one a year or so ago to buy a guitar.
I got:
12":
BLUE CHEER - Vincebus Eruptum (been looking for a copy of this for ages)
TANKARD - Chemical Invasion (German Thrash band that primarily sings about beer! Great stuff makes me laugh my ass off)
7":
SEVERED HEAD OF STATE - Fucking Butchery
I've got a copy of this for sale or swap if anyone's interested:

I got a 12" Fugazi "Margin Walker". Original. Bad ass, I wish I had it when I met Ian...
The Violent Femmes "The Blind leading the naked". I am hoping to get it signed at a upcoming show, That I'm going too.
thoses are my favorites.
Also, Elvis. Dude, thanks for telling me about "Crass". I love them, they are all I listen too lately. I am hoping too pick up a original "Crass" record one day. and "Velvet Undergroud"... I wish

I saw the Violent Femmes earlier on in the year. I used to have the majority of the Fugazi albums (I'll definatley have to pick up the first E.P and Repeater again). The Velvets records seem to turn up quite a bit over here but I might buy the coloured reissues because they look great. That's cool you like Crass! Now go check out those Aus-Rotten songs I told you about. I've seen a few original Crass records but the ones I used to own were reissues (not much difference really and there probably better pressings).
@ The_Return: I've been listening to a bunch of Alice Cooper myself latley especially Billion Dollar Babies. I've been looking for a decent copy of it on vinyl (with the dollar bill poster and cards still intact).

I've owned a few copies of it but never strike them in their entirety especially now that 70s rock is in vogue. Its fun getting the record buying bug again I forgot how great it is trying to hunt shit down. I've struck a few really good distros over here that sell punk stuff dirt cheap compared to the stores.

I grabbed a few more from my Dad's collection to listen to. Havnt gone through them all yet, but here are the ones he had that interested me:
Killer- Alice Cooper [Listening to it now]
Kristofferson- Kris Kris Kristofferson
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida -Iron Butterfly
Willie Nelson's Gretest Hits (And some that will be)
So far Ive only listened to Killer, but it kicks some serious ass!

I was listening to the RS today they've got some great stuff but Jagger fucks me off at times. Too much of a mincer for my liking.

after the 70's they kind of became too flashy and thin around the edges ..

Yeh they sure did. Everything after Exile on Main St is pretty dodgey. Mick was doing lame shit way before then tho. That shit he pulls during their preformance on RnR Circus makes me cringe.
I really love the albums Let It Bleed & Sticky Fingers.

i think i have everything they did on vinyl - or damn near.
I even have a copy of 'Satanical Magesties' (or whatever the hell its called) with the '3D' cover...
i love what they were doing in the 60's the best .. very much ahead of their time .. menacing when most of the music of that time was all flowers and peace ...

Yeh that's what I've always dug about them and a lot of the rhythm and blues bands of the time. Three words: Paint it Black.....
That 3D cover is pretty cool I've only seen it a few times, never really got into that album.
