if you havent heard Alexandre Aja ( who ive never heard of) is directing the remake of the hills have eyes. Not to excited about this one. the director has about two movies under his belt both having nothing to do with horror, plus its a remake so... yeah. and also i was supprised to see that michael berryman isnt going to be in it. i mean the guy needs work and he is a famous horror icon.
so waht are your thoughts on the subject?

true and im not a huge remake hater. I enjoyed the tcm remake and the dawn of the dead remake. yeah there not as good but there also diffrent and well made movies. now shit like the pysco remake and moves where new actors just resay the lines, common thats some bad shit. and i just learned it has the actor who played charlie from land of the dead so thats a plus.

...directed Haute Tension...aka High Tension...aka Switchblade Romance. So yews, he's gotten his feet wet in the horror genre. I'm looking forward to this remake.

Lame, I would rather see a original movie any day. Remakes are for people that have no good idea's.

I think I'd check this one out, I was a fan of the first one.
I didn't really care for the second one all that much.:o

Okay, I love the original and I have made my opinion about the abundance of remakes lately known....lol. But if done well, this might not be a complete disaster. But I agree, no Michael Berryman? How the hell are they going to replace him?

I wasn't to thrilled when I first heard about this remake. And I'm still not thrilled about it. But, I'll probably end up seiing it in the theaters anyway. Loved the original, so maybe the remake will ok. Maybe.
