"It is understandably easy to overlook the quality of an actor's performance within
the horror genre; however BILL MOSELEY's performance as Otis Driftwood in THE
DEVIL'S REJECTS is so compelling that it may very well change that. Moseley delivers
a performance as convincing and charismatic as that of many other actors who have
taken home an Oscar previously. He certainly deserves the opportunity to be
acknowledged, regardless of the film's genre. It is our hope that The Academy of Motion
Picture Arts & Sciences may become motivated to consider recognizing Moseley's
extraordinary efforts and talent by nominating him for the 78th Annual Academy Awards."

It's a nice idea which I fully agree with but sadly it'll never happen.

people get overlooked for Oscars all the time, why should Moseley (who might not even deserve a nomination) be any different?

I agree that his performance was excellent, although I doubt the academy is going to give an oscar to an actor in a horror film.

I think alot of the nominations have to do with politics is Hollywood. and ROb Zombie is an outsider.

IMO if it was truly based on the best film, I think Tarantino may have one on his shelf by now.

This is only my opinion.

I think Tarantino would have a few on his shelf by now. Im so sick of seing the same lame ass movies with the same plots and actors winning over and over and over. thats why we have so many diffrent types of music because there are so many diffrent types of people.
