the family called me because i used to be a nurse assistant it is my brother's father n law they didn't want to admit it i was their last hope, they called me to check his vitals but he was gone i felt so bad to tell them but i had to :(

No offense but why'd they call you instead of the hospital?

during times of extreme stress, people will attempt to look for assistance from something they know and trust... in ENTITY2000's case, it was her they find easier to put trust into, as she was a nurse, rather than a doctor they don't know.

That's understandable, when I was typing the question I didn't even think of the time my mom did the same thing when my Grand dad had a heart attack. Instead of calling the hospital she called my aunt who's a licensed nurse and actually didn't have to call the hospital at all but of course they went just to make sure everything was ok.
