Save yourself the money and don't. Treat yourself to an Ice Cream cone or Coffee or something. I promise they will be more enjoyable and the money will be well spent.

I recently bought House of the Dead because everyone was saying that it was SO bad it was unbelievable...and I was actually pleased because the movie is very funny.
Favorite werewolf movie - TIE between "The Wolf Man" and "An American Werewolf In London" - gotta give respect to the Universal flicks.
Least favorite werewolf movie - "Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory," found it kind of dull, although the monster makeup was sorta interesting looking.
I do like Paul Naschy's "Waldemar" movies too, but that's a different breed of werewolf unto itself...

I haven't seen Cursed. I refuse to see it on the grounds that it's a werewolf movie but you can't tell from the previews

I never really understood that myself...it's like they were trying to keep it secret for some reason
there's the wolf jumping on the car after the accident(you can't even tell it's a wolf) and when that girl's faced morphed but I don't understand why they didn't just put a wolf in the trailers might've drawn more people.
I shoulda known better when I saw who wrote it.

best: Dog Soldiers (i think it always will be, but i've never seen the howling 1 or wolfen)
favorite: Metal Beast (this movie is terrible but i love it)
worst: Cursed (but i kind of liked it once i accepted the fact that Wes Craven wasn't trying to be serious. Or at least i made myself believe that, because if he was, then goddamn...)
Hahah. I'd forgotten about metal beast actualy. Had to rummage around in my brain for a favorite. I'm going to rent that piece of shit.

Quite right, it is every bit as bad if not worse.
Best: Dog Soldiers
Worst: Werewolf (1996) ........... Nice original title there. This movie had a user rating of 1.9 out of 10.... Thats pathetic. You also had to consider "An American Werewolf in Paris" over "Cursed".
(Cursed wasnt that bad and it was lot better than these)
The Mothman

I'd be a bigger werewolf fan if it weren't for the fact that most werewolf movies suck! In the majority of werewolf movies (at least that I've seen) the creature effects are terrible, and what better way to ruin a werewolf movie than by having a stupid looking monster. I especially hate it when the "werewolf" is a big dog in a costume, like in The Beast Must Die.
Anyway...my favorite is The Howling. The one I just absolutely hate is Werewolf vs. The Vampire Woman.
Let's hope the new Dog Soldiers movie is at least as good as the first.

I have to give a nod to Wolf with Jack Nicholson. Anytime a guy pees on another guys shoes to mark his territory....
