Hey guys I was searching the web and discovered that from October 23-25 the first ever International Horror & Scifi Film Festival will be held in Phoenix Arizona. Even cooler is that they are accepting submissions from just about everyone. Apparently this film festival is being run by the Phoenix Film Festival which in the past has been able to bring in some pretty big names like Kevin Baccon. And I guess its being run by indie horror director and comic creator Brian Pulido famous for his ultra-violent creations Evil Ernie and Lady Death. Anyways if your interested check out this website : www.horrorscifi.com

Who the hell is Brian Pulido? (I've heard of those 2 comics but what horror films does he have under his belt?)

well, i dont know about the wankfest in question - BUT i do know that i just bought my ticket for Rue M orgues' Festival of Fear for the end of august.
$40 for the 3 day pass .. all access.. I'm looking forward to this one - i'll have a ton of pictures to post..
I'm heading to Shriekfest - a festival for indie filmmakers and screenwriters in LA - its Sept. 15-18. I'll try to post reports on any really cool films or scripts or events. www.shriekfest.com
(and no- before someone accuses me of pimping - i have absolutely nothing to do with this festival, it is just a really cool event for those interested in horror films and independent filmmaking - damnit!)

Hmmm... You've been a member for over half a year, you actually have a couple dozen posts under your belt, and you put a disclaimer on your link....
I think you'll be okay.
