Am i talking about War of the Worlds? No. I would liove to see it, but Loverboy has already cheapened it to some degree....
No, I'm talking about the imminent termination of my employment from my current company. Today is a fun day. i am using an external hard drive to copy anything that might be worth something to me from my work laptop which, sadly, they wont let me keep.
BUT, i also have my copy of Dawn of the Dead ('78) on hand, so much entertainment will be had :)
I also have evil dead 1 and 2 sitting here, so let the good times roll. (I may watch dog soldiers too, if i have time.)

This isnt too far from the truth. We have a river that goes through our back yard and some kids seem to think it's free game for them to go fishing. For minnows
With me it will probably be more along the lines of "Excuse me.... Can you please get the fuck out of my yard?"

Vodstok, what is it you do again? I think I remember you saying you're a programmer but it's a long shot.

C# is great. Since it is a real programming language, rather than just a scripting language, it can do all kinds of fun things. The Vulgar Gourmet portionm is actually built on a MS Access backend, because im too damn cheap to pay for a SQL DB on my current provider.
Im also learning flash, cold fusion and php so i can expand my horizons and hope fully good paying job opportunities :)

Vod....in the drinks section, perhaps you shold have some articles on what kind of beers to serve with what foods....and such...just a suggestion.
Like at the moment i'm enjoying some mozzeralla sticks and they are going just fine with the IPA i'm having.:)

I had actually thought of that :D
Suggestions are always welcome :)
Its not like i wont have time to work on it.
Bree just did our finances, and we are all set for 4 months :)
I damn well better have a job in less than a quarter of that...

Yeah. My site is all Microsoft too. Our programmers use .asp and asp.net. I heard an SQL liscence is pretty expensive.
I used Flash to make a couple of games. I love Flash, it's versatile and it's meant to be used by programmers and graphic designers.
BTW, interesting site. I like the food portion. I'm a big cheese fan and I have yet to try Havarti!

I LOVE havarti....
Do you guys host your sites on your own servers?
Looks like SQL is very expensive. I have been working off of an msdn universal license, which gives me access to allll kinds of shit.

I've never seen the havarti package before at the grocery. I'll look for it. Blue Cheese is what I prefer but I'm on a diet so I haven't bought cheese in months(damn cholesterol!!)
We don't own a server but our hoster is incredible. Unlimited traffic, unlimited e-mail, etc. We are working on a massive online rpg game at the moment that will probably require a dedicated connection or a server.

Does your provider offer sql as part of a package? Mine does, but it costs extra, and i just havent had the money (hence the access db). I much prefer sql, it's what i use at work (and i have it running on my home pc)
Who do you use as a host? I have been using acomhosting for almost 2 years, they have been great so far.

Mmm I don't know. A fellow co-worker handles all that. I really just do the graphic work, the 3D and the animated and graphical part of our games. I suck at coding!

http://www.iweb.ca/ is there website. They're called iweb hosting and they are located in Montreal Qc. We do reselling for them and our packages are even cheaper that way for both our clients and us. Very nice deal.
