What do you people think of movies like the Ghoulies, Critters, Puppet Master and such? A lot of people would not consider these films 'horror' for some reason but I am just curious to see if other people like these films(or not). Most people for some reason hate them because "they are gay" and I should try '[insert horror movie ten people have heard of and is banned in the U.S.]' instead.

some of them are ok, but it's when they get sequal after sequal, is when it's time to say enough is enough....critters comes to mind.

I had 'Puppet Master' on earlier myself. I can never sit through more than 10 minutes of it for some reason. I'll likely never find out how it ends (not that it matters since I never know what happens in it to begin with).

nothing with little creatures is in the slightest bit frightening to me.

if i can take care of the problem with a tennis raquet - it isnt much of a problem.

The gremlins movies were never scary (nor were they really meant to be), but VERY entertaining. Properly done, small creatrures could be scary. They just have to be in the hands of a talented person.

Headcrabs from halflife scare the shit out of me. They appear out of nowhere, make an awful noise, and can turn you into a zombie...

I really love all the movies stated in the subject post. The killer doll in Trilogy of Terror (both of them) was and is extremely frightening/unnerving to me.

Sure, if you could take out a critter with a tennis racket, but you have to find the fucker first. Them's fast'uns paw. Ya gawts ta ketches em afor ya kin kill em.

I loved Puppet Master and Demonic Toys...But, I'd hardly call them scary...

The little red guys in Subspecies were really cool

Ash's miniatures (Army Of Darkness...in the lighthouse) and Ash's hand (Evil Dead 2) were AWESOME...Not scary, of course

The troll in Cat's Eye was creepy...And an irritating little fucker...

I LOVE CRITTERS!

Just so I can tell people who come over, "Hey... feel like watching 'Critters'?"

"....."

"Or how bout' Critters 2?"

"...."

"Don't flip me off."

I enjoyed Critters, The Puppet Master and Demonic Toys films.

The Gate was another cool movie with little monsters.
