Gladiator has been on alot.... Animal House has been on alot too..however... John Belushi does rock... Russell Crowe is kinda hot in Gladiator... Its ok I guess but I can only watch it once in a while. I think I'll stick to my Futurama right now.

Whenever TNT,AMC,TBS or FX get ahold of a movie they wear it the hell out.

TNT for example puts something on Friday night back to back, Saturday night back to back, Sunday night back to back, then it plays about 5 different times during the week.

HEY PSYCHO! Long time no see. Happy belated Birthday, i saw yours was earlier this week (I think)

Gladiator is one o fthose movies that is only cheapened by showing it on tv (Blackhawk Down as well). A lot of their impact comes from things they cant/wont show on tv.

Isn't every film cheapened by tv? I've never seen or heard of a movie that was better to watch on tv then it was in the theatre.

I agree, but some are at least "okay" to watch on tv, while others are butchered beyond recognition.

For instance, Jaws or Poltergeist are okay on tv, while predator isnt because they cut out the gore and swearing.

"Hey * you! You stupid mother*!!! I'll *in kill you!"

Yeah, mafia movies and tv dont mix.

Bound was another one wasted on tv. It has 4 things that made it noteworthy:
Decent story
Violence
Nudity
Swearing

3 out of 4 were missing, and unfortunately, at least the violence and nudity were somewhat integral to the movie.

Heya Vod thanks for the Happy Birthday!!! One more year till I get a break on my car insurance....WHOOO HOOOO!! The sure do get away with more and more on television these days, its only a matter of time before blood and guts gets on there as well. haha the other day I was gonna watch Hannibal on Tv but decided against it. Its not only the lack Gore that takes away from movies but also the repetitive commercials they have ever five minutes. When all is said and done I would still rather watch a movie then some lame ass reality telivison <cough> the real gilligans Island <cough> Since im venting why not continue....Discovery used to be one of the best channels out ther with great informative shows about cool stuff. Whats on now, you ask? A plethora of shows about building houses, building cars, ten shows about building motorcycles and choppers, redesigning redecorating refurbishing all manner of things I really dont care too much for. Thank God <JESUS> for Sci-fi, Discovery Times, AMC, Beautiful Days and just about everything

It's shameful that they used the good name of Gladiator to plug Kingdom of Heaven. Same director, very different outcome.
