Well picked this up yesterday, All i can say, its no Ginger Snaps. Seems to me while i was watching thats where the plot came from, Just a little twist so it wasnt so obvious that the idea for this movie was takin from G.Snaps But a semi gothed out Christina Ricci was cool,

There's an unrated version out...wonder if that could be good. I haven't seen this one yet, regardless, though. Someone review it.
Just rented it..... I will give my review on it later... Hopefully it cant be worst than Boogeyman.
Is that a porno that you are reading in your avatar??

It wasn't THAT bad, but don't expect too much....it's a good renter. Had it's moments....But yet another one I had figured out from the begining, I hate that!
Scott Baio was in this movie. Charles in Charge.
Go for the unrated version which i saw.
Im gonna go out and say that it is a GOOD movie.... 100 times better than Boogieman. Much better than I expected. Not the scariest but a good fun scary movie.
The storyline is pretty good and interesting. Even I guessed it, but its still interesting enough to keep you watching.... Christina Ricci is pretty much always good as an actress. She did a good job and even her brother. It does have its share of pop outs that could make you jump here and there. For some reason, I found myself laughing a lot at the funny parts (wrestling part). I didnt expect it to be funny at all but it actually was. I guess the movie theatre version was weaker but I watched the uncensored version and there was lot of blood in it. I loved the Shannon Elizabeth scene and there are few other bloody gory scenes. The CGI effects werent overdone too much and it looked good when it was done. Im gonna add this movie to my collection.

CURSED is crap. Well, maybe not crap but I couldn't resist the temptation to use alliteration.
It's junk, ill concieved and badly made, confused in its storytelling and weak in thrills. There is a great scare sequence in a parking garage (almost a mini-movie in itself), but that's about it.
For some reason, the werewolves know karate -- silly!. Instead o just biting/goring their victims to death, they throw them over cars, etc, so that said victims have a chance to escape, thus prolonging the scare scenes past all endurance.
The unrated gore was gory but not scary -- it just felt too desperate in its attempt to be shocking.
Best part of the DVD was hearing Greg Nicotero's auidence commentary: he was as unimpressed by the CGI human-to-wolf transormation as I was.

I should've known it was going to be nothing but some teenybopper bullshit when I found out that Kevin Williamson wrote it.

imo you just hate it because its a teen slasher werewolf movie. at least unlike most werewolf movies (dog soldiers is still the best of course) it has a storyline. and the werewolves can kill however they want!. you have to remember that werewolves are humans underneath, and the bitch girl wasnt trying to eat them, just kill them...
it got good reviews as far as i've seen.
5 *'s on the box from some company review.

I have it, and didnt think it was anything special.
A Few chills and scares here and there, but overall the film was too slow... and just wasnt interesting...

The only thing I liked was the transformations nothin else lol, it was a cute movie but by that I mean it should be called thriller not horror, horror is guts flying all over the place hehe
for the werewolf genre, damn I lost its title about 2 girls sisters and one is bitten and then the other one and bla bla it has 3 movies, well anyway that movie(s) were a lot better than cursed.
And when I close I remember the title

Spoilers:
Horrible film. I had heard nothing about when I went to see it in theatres. I hoped it would be about witchcraft which would be somewhat interesting. When the boy is dragged out of the wrecked car I was thinking "what the HELL is this". Once I figured out it was a werewolf movie (which can be good if done right) I was pretty disappointed. It was all downhill from there, too. This would have been a great series for the WB or something. Not a horror movie by WES FUCKING CRAVEN

I have to agree with the above poster, this really was a howler (no pun intended). I’ve never been a big fan of Christine Ricci but she seemed particularly ill at ease in this film. The young Eisenberg boy seemed a lot better but the Williamson script, with its tired attempts to outguess the viewer was quite weak. I was kinda expecting a Scream style re-assessment of the clichés perhaps with some witty comments on what being a werewolf would really be like, i.e. the terrible expense of ripped clothes every month rather than the crzy idea that every time they touch silver they start smoking. I think Wes Craven directed this in his sleep.

? If everyone here thinks it sucks, where the hell did the tagline on the back of the box saying "The Most Terrifying Movie Of The Year!- Horror.com" Come from???? Apparently not from anywhere here that I've seen. But maybe I'm wrong. And that isn't impossible.....:D
