I figured we hadnt had any threads like this in a week or two, so i figured i would get things started.
Mine is clearly an attempt to pimp my site even further. Yes, I am a whore, and a pimp. since i dont care for the term "Pore", and I am certainly not a "wimp" (Bunny wounds aside), i think i will go with "plut".
Oh, and if you cant tell what it is, it is an x-ray of a snake, with "Scared Yet?" in the upper left corner, and "Http://ScaredYet.Net" in the lower left.

I'm actually happier with this one (urge) than the vampire one you had for a while. He started to get on my nerves.

I did actualy think it was urge, dressed up in constume, for a few weeks when he put it up.

the Sci-fi channel kinda sucks anyway besides the decent movie they show once in awhile and tales from the crypt re-runs

Their website pays more than 23 times the going rate for manuscripts, though. Last i checked ,they paid 20 cents a word, where for science fiction, it is usually 6 to 14 cents per word, and only 3 - 8 for horror.

My avatar is me. I used it, because I'm trying to break out of my self conscious shell. I hate the way I look in photos, however, I think that particular picture might be on the more flattering side.

Anyway, my avatar goes with my original username, Vampenguin. Which is a vampire crossed with a penguin. A great member who has been on a leave of absence [Stingy Jack] made it/found it for me, and Im forever in his debt! Someone made a Chrstmas version, too....but I lost that one:(
Speaking of Stingy, wonder of he'll be back now that it's summer? Hopefully he just left cause he was busy...even though it took a month to read most of his posts:p

I hope he comes back too, but he was not only busy with school, he was writing a story for Cemetary Dance, so it may just be that he has more willpower than me and is actually writing, rather than talking about it here like a certain vod i know.....

I often use my picture as my avatar because I feel that it helps to make this place a little less 'impersonal'...I like to be able to 'look at' the person that I'm 'talking' to, and I think that a lot of people feel the same way...I really wish that ALL of you guys would use your pictures as your avatars...But, it doesn't really look like it's catching on.....Oh well...

I always have a heavy rotation of evil clowns, jesters or any other type of insane; makeup-wearing freaks.
My reasoning is I hate/fear clowns. I choose the avatars as symbolism for facing my fear.
However, I truly believe that I am not all too different from someone who looks happy/harmless on the outside...but underneath the "makeup" lies a dark; tortured soul.
So, in a weird way...I am fearing what I can actually relate to.
Plus, I choose the avatars because they seem to match my screen name pretty well. I've used "Haphazard" for everything from way back in the day. The name was for a comic book villain I had created. (not a clown).
I have assumed Haphazard as my alter ego. No rhyme or reason for most of the things I do.
