I'd have to say leprechaun. He was fucking freaky.

Well no duh that I pick Freddy Krueger as the scarest. I mean just look at the guy! He's a torched killer that enters your nightmares and chases you down and kills you with his four, 10 inch, blades that are on his right gloved hand.

so! doesn't make him the scariest. but hey, that's your opinion.

well, I always thought of micheal to be scarest one when I was young, now no one scare me anymore

but the micheal mask is like, from a far distance it doesn't seem like a mask, it seems like he's really white, without emotion, it's cool

like in slipknot, the kabuki mask of joey, it's like he's drumming with full pâsion, yet his face doesn't make a move
same with micheal

speaking of shorty, I got scared each time I saw childs play 1 and he ended his "life" with the really slow spoken words: wanna play
it scared me yeah

Yep, pretty freaky.

The scene where Chucky trips Andy and he comes crouching up like a tiger scared the crap out of me. The way he looks - weilding the knife, burnt to a crisp, his eye huge and white...creepy. And the way he walked too...ugh. Scary.

favorite part is when the mom finds out chucky is alive, see keeps yelling, talk damned

chucky replys with a bunch of obscene words, sweet, not scary, but sweet

all of the child's plays (minus bride of chucky) scared me. the part in the first one that mudsliptones was just talking about was scary when she opened the battery holder and chuckys head quickly turned around and said wanna play. or was it hi i'm chucky. either way it was scary.

the second one is when andy gets adopted and chucky finds him. the third one was when he went to the military school.

no offense but chucky is the least scarriest to me i dunno but i saw childs play when i was 7 when childs play first came out my mom bought a chucky doll, after watching chucky i selpt with the doll till i was abt 12 than i just left it setting on a pillow and since than ive added more horror movie killers, i have dolls from every series except lepracuan i have the doll they made after bride of chucky

pennywise the clown is the scariest guy ever i still have nightmares about him i dunno i guess a killer clown is scarrier than a killer doll or a demon from hell with pins in his head or a guy that haunts your nightmares lol

of the list above freddy is the scarriest

Ok, first off Thats just sick that you slept with a doll till age 12. Second, I agreee, Chucky isnt very scary at all, but still he's kinda cleaver in his own way. . .

ok first off no its not sick that i slept with it till age 12, im a girl and most girls even in the late 20s early 30s that are not married sleep with stuffed animals, i dont even think its sick that i slept with a chucky doll.....i was scared of everything when i was little, especially when i went to bed so i believed chucky could protect me besides chucky was the only one i could sleep with freddys glove would scratch me and the knives michael and jason had poked me and i didnt even try sleeping with my pinhead doll and their all porclin except for chucky so i felt better if i had the doll close to me......sometimes i still do even though im 17 but im a girl so i guess its a girl thing

Can you really identify a scariest character? I think plenty of characters have their merits and frighten us in different ways. Pennywise is very much a childhood fear whereas characters like Michael Myers or Hannibal Lecter frighten us because they are very much realistic. Then there's the situational fears - out in the woods alone, you could think of the Blair Witch or Jason Voorhees. Cruising along a desert road you might think of The Hills Have Eyes mutants or Leatherface and the gang but if you live in the city you might never think of these terrors (unless you're in Manhattan when Jason takes it...)

I used to have recurring nightmares involving Michael Myers out to get me... So he gets my vote.

Those weren't dreams, they're repressed memories seeping through. You're not who you think you are...you were born Amanda Myers.

On the list i chose freddy. He was the freakest by far.
But i think chuga/sugar. The killer from no country for old men. was pretty damn scarey.

Hellraiser is not a character, it is a movie title. I assume you are thinking about Pinhead, or one of the other Cenobites?

I do not think any of the above mentioned characters is that scary, they are all flashy slasher type killers and that to me just is not that frightening. However if I am going to vote on anyone on that list I think it have to be Freddy, he can enter people's dreams and kill them there and that is rather spooky.
