Ok, the trailer I saw for this one looked fucked up. I don't even know if I want to see this or not. I'm so confused! Anyway, any feedback?

looks like it borrows (thematically) from The matrix/Logans Run.

i'll probably see it.

come to think of it ... what do you want to bet that Logans Run will be remade within the next couple of years ?

Michael Bay + money = dogshit.

Somebody should put him and Jerry Bruckheimer in a cagematch to the death, and then shoot the winner in the head.

LMFAO!!! Wonderful idea. :D

Actually think this looks like it may be interesting. The cast is decent and I think that the story is intriguing. Of course, if not handled properly it could be a complete disaster. Which it probably will be. I try to keep expectations low these days. ;)

I like the cast of the Island, but the trailer doesn't really have me wowed. I think I'll wait for the reviews to roll in before I go see that one.

RE: Logan's Run remake...why? Why ruin it?

It doesn't take much for me to make the decision to go see a film, for example I'll probably go to see this just because Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanson(I know I spelled those two wrong) are in it, not to take anything away from them but they aren't exactly the names that catch your eye and make you want to see a film such as Nicholson,Depp,Washington ect.

Am I tired, or did that make no scence?

Well, I didn't think it was a good idea, but the result was better than I expected. THE ISLAND owes a lot more to CLONUS than to LOGAN'S RUN. It's overdone like any Michael Bay film, but somehow I just rolled with it and enjoyed it for what it was -- a bigger, louder, lavish version of CLONUS, with lots of chase scenes and explosions. An odd combination of clinical science-fiction horror and summer popcorn movie.
