Hi, I saw a particularly interesting film that was clearly a US film (I saw it in Caracas). It was about this giant machine that people found themselves captive inside of. The machine was a maze of rooms. The rooms were constantly shifting so a new room was always shifting into poistion for you to move into. If you tried to move out of the room you were in you risked some sort of horrible death. One of the early characters to die was some sort of famous escape artist named "the Wren"
Anyway, it had about 8 characters in the movie. One was a teenage boy who was clearly mentally disabled. They always tried to bring him along as its "the right thing to do" Turns out one of the characters was one of the actual builders of the machine though he didn't know the big picture when he was building it.
Everyone dies except the disabled boy who finally gets out when the shifting machine opens up a doorway to freedom. And the funny "punchline" thing was that, if you never left the room you were in originally, it would eventually open up to freedom as it would shift there. But they didn't know it until the last person was left who "was too dumb" to know any better (ironically).
Anyway, please help me remember the name of this movie.
Thanks merlyn
