what is the worst sequel you've ever seen?
mine is texas chainsaw massacre: the new generation. its funny to me now that matthew mcaunahey (sp) is such a big star now.

I had a nightmare last night about seeing that in a second hand store and buying it... but in the dream I also bought Carpenters THEY LIVE on DVD... and I woke up smilin' :D

sounds like a good trade off.
It doesn't really qualify as the worst sequel ever, because I haven't seen it yet, but they're releasing 'Leprechaun: Back 2 tha hood' at the end of the year. I mean, come on!

Go to 'user/cp'. There, you have to pick 'edit options'. At the bottom of the screen you can click on 'change avatar'. There you can pick from the list, or you can select your own avatar (from a website or from your harddisk). But you gotta make sure the image is not too big!

Wishmaster 2 ruined a possible decent franchise. Curse of the Puppetmaster was awful too.

As for Wishmaster - By part 3, the Djinn really looks like a drag queen.

I AGREE THAT NIGHTMARE 2 WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT ALSO BUT AT LEAST THE NIGHTMARE SERIES HAD IT'S MOMENTS IF IT WAS A FUNNY MOMENT A SCARY MOMENT OR WHATEVER THE POINT IS IT STILL WAS'NT THE HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AS MOST HORROR SEQUALS HAVE LIKE WISHMASTER-AND DAMN NEAR ANY WES CRAVEN MOVIE.

On the other hand, as far as real Craven sequels go, did you ever see The Hills Have Eyes Part 2? What a dud.

If you are a fan of KNB effects, I have good news for you. Bob Kurtzman (the K in KNB) directed the first Wishmaster. And, as payment for effects work on Pulp Fiction, he had Tarantino take a story idea he came up and turn it into a script. That movie became From Dusk Till Dawn.
He has only directed one other film, but the latest I've heard on him is that he's just retired from the f/x business to direct more movies.
