This was too funny not to share with you all. In our local paper, they have a section called People Poll. A reporter goes to different neighborhoods and asks the Question of the Day. Today's question is "How will life change when the world runs out of oil?"
I'm going leave out the people's names, just put their initials and where they're from, but here's their responses:
C.P., Media, PA: "It would be chaos unless proactive measures are taken to minimize the change."
Z.K., Media, PA: "They have to look at other sources of energy rather than depend on oil. We have resources that need to be explored. We cater too much to the oil companies."
R.G., Lancaster, PA: "I don't think it will. When they see the end coming near, they'll come up with alternatives."
D.P., Drexel Hill, PA: "Make more energy from recycled organic waste."
S.P., Drexel Hill, PA: "Use anything organic, such as recycled waste."
