its not like they are that obscure and old but not on anyone's playlist for the last 30 years ..

If I Don't Like Mondays is the WEAKEST song on the disc, I'll definately have to listen to that pretty soon. IDLM is way high up on my list, if it were to be ranked

Honestly that list is about as close as you're going to get. Besides the Aerosmith and Pink flyod.

Maybe I missed it but... John lennon's "Imagine" wasn't on it?

Come on now.

Fate Kills

1. Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart
2. New Order - Perfect Kiss
3. Eliott Smith - Say Yes
4. The Smiths - This Charming Man
5. Foo Fighters - Everlong

Maybe not the best (besides Joy Division), but definitely my favorite.

this is impossible ..

i'll give 'a' five, not 'the ' five ... there is no 'top five songs of all time'
no one on this forum - let alone the world can determine that.

so here are five songs that i consider to be perfect :
i could name a lot more ..

- Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
- Genesis - Supper's Ready
- David Essex - Rock On
- ACDC - Highway to Hell
- Burt Bacharach - This Man's In Love With You (depending on the version)
