SHALLOW GROUND ( out on DVD 6/28 )

WOLF CREEK ( in theaters in November )

I have a feeling that both of these films are going to equal or surpass all expectations. At least mine anyhow! :D

Seriously, I just read an article about SHALLOW GROUND in the new Fangoria & it looks creepy as hell. I can't recall the last time a couple of photos in a magazine actually gave me a bit of a chill. It's had to have been DECADES!
I'll be grabbing up this one the day it comes out.

We'll have a bit longer of a wait for WOLF CREEK, but it should be well worth it. It definitely NOT supposed to be for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.
This one's based on a real life sadistic serial killer that was convicted of murdering seven back packers, but whose own family is convinced is probably actually guilty of many, many more killings than that.

Actually I think Shallow Ground will be better than expected as well. Hadn't heard anything about Wolf Creek until just now, but sounds promising.

I agree on Shallow Ground. I read the same article in Fangoria but this one grabbed me at the photos even before I read the article. This should be a good one.

Don't know much about wolf creek yet.

:)

I am looking forward to Beowulf and Grendel....
a fantasy/horror/adventure indie that should hit
screens in the fall. It stars Gerard Butler, Stellan Skarsgard
and Sarah Polley. Filmed entirely on location in stunning
Iceland it tells the story of the warrior prince Beowulf
and his convuluted task of killing a menacing and
murderous troll. Grendel has slaughtered so many
innocent men that the King of the Danes begs for help
from Beowulf in erraticating the monsters bloody vigil.
Broadswords, monsters, bloody mayham, sex, and
really hot men in chain mail...what's not to look forward to????

Directed by Sturla Gunnarsson
Status: Post Production
