I just concocted another one of my woopass marinades for some pork, they're in the bowl soaking up the juices as I type.
I made it with lots of healthy ingredients, based around olive oil, plenty of fresh basil picked 2 mins before, crannberrys, apple, dash of vinegar and lemon juice and some ground pepper, some special secret ingredients (everything needs secret ingredients ;) ) and it tasted super.
Now what if I wanted to start up my own brand of marinades and get it sold. I'd have to list measured ingredients, which wouldn't be a problem. But what about listing the nutritional qualities of the product. This would be the problem as I don't have a clue as to what and how much fat, vitamins and calories etc each of the various ingredients I use has. Also I think by Uk law, this stuff has to be listed. So I'd have to find out how to go about this.
Another thing would be the brand name and labels etc, but I don't think that'd be a problem either... I can get creative.
There's various other things I'd have to look into, such as patent & name copyright, all types of costs inc vat, marketing, competition, pricing and logistics etc.. but my Universtity marketing should help me with that.
just need some taste testers to try out my super marinades :D
