I'm a fan of the movie, just rented it a few weeks ago. Great little film, creepy as all get out, thought provoking ending. Enough gore? Can't say for all, but for me? Enough.

Yes, i´m definitely gonna see it too, after someone over at Film-talm.com called it the scariest movie he had seen. :)

I thought it was pretty good, but not one of the best movies I've ever seen.

I really enjoyed this movie. I read about it in Fangoria and was very interested to check it ouy. I was very happy I did. The first time you see the ghosts is a good scare. On the gore part, I thought it had enough, but that's just me.

Eventhough I love this movie, it was not the best direct to video release I have seen this year, Malevolence was kick ass, but my fave has to be The Last Horror Movie.

I was a bit disapointed with this one.It started off really good but IMO didn't really deliver the goods. Especially after all the good hype.
Maybe it was my mood.

It takes place in the Civil War so the language was safe as I remember it. Maybe a "hell" or "damn". But nothing of note. If your dad ever sat through a John Wayne western and liked it, this movie would probably be OK.

I JUST bought it today, it was 19.99 at Best Buy.

Im surprised people werent talking about this movie earlier... I enjoyed it.... The setting of the movie is very dark for most of the movie and that creepy music is played a lot. The plot is pretty good... There is a bit of gore to keep gore fans happy but most of the chills will happen with the creepy ghosts. This movie has plenty of pop outs, creepy children, gore, eerie music and interesting plot that kept me entertained. Ending could have been better but I was plenty entertained so I give it 2 thumbs up.

*****SPOILER******
I really liked some of the scary parts in this movie. This movie did a good job in building the suspense and then BOOM! a ghost pops out. That part when she looked underneath the bed was great!!! I havent flinched like that since Bourne Identity (crashing window scene).

I just bought this one last night, but I haven't watched it yet...You guys definitely seem to have some mixed opinions about it, so I'm hoping it's at least 'pretty good'...Newb's comment was a little disheartening, because his opinions on movies are usually pretty close to my own....I wish Vod would have said something about it, cuz if HE didn't like it, I'm sure that I would:p

I thought this was a pretty decent movie. I bought it after I rented it. On the gore side, I didn't think it was all that bad.
