Howdy ..
in the Modern Movie forum ...could we get a sticky that asks that spoilers come with a warning ?
i keep seeing things that will screw a movie for me .. and i dont think a lot of people even know that there is such a concept ...
if not - no biggie - just a thought ..

i did throw around the idea of creating a sticky spoiler thread where any spoiler posts would end up......

I moaned about this a few weeks ago... came across too many spoilers, and when I said something, got a sarcastic reply.
If I do talk about a film I've watched, and someone asks about it, I'll try to only mention parts along the lines of the synopsis, that can be found on the back of the DVD cover, and don't elaborate... .. so no harm done is my intention.

thats never a problem ...
some folks just need to be made aware of - and reminded - to use the
******************spoiler*****************
line if they are going to talk about the ending .. etc ..
its easy to see and i immediately stop reading ..

another film forum I visit, has a superb spoiler prevention thing going.... anything thats deemed spoilerish is covered in a large block of black, so to read anything in it, you have to highlight it to see the text. Shame it can't be done here... it's on vBulletin though.

I don't often read the back either, unless I'm getting confused with the plot of a film, then sometimes it gives clues that can help.
