I just locked horns with Wicked Lady about.....ICE TRAYS!

I have told her since she was 8 years old..."When you take ice out of the ice tray, fill it back up and put it away".....Well...I keep finding half-empty ice trays in the freezer...She just put an ice tray in there with only 4 ice cubes in it.......

Okay, it doesn't seem like any big deal, BUT...I have a system....There are 3 stacked ice trays in the freezer...When you need ice, you take the one off the top, use what you need, fill the empty spaces, and slide the tray on the bottom of the others...This way you always have a full ice tray on top....It isn't difficult to do, I have done it myself for years, so I can't see why she refuses to do it...And we discuss this issue about 3-5 times a week...

I think the real reason that it gets to me so much, is that this is the ONLY thing that she just absolutely defies me about...Anyway...I'm tired of arguing about it...So, I just threw the ice trays away....Removed the irritant...Problem solved...

You guys ever argue about really stupid, insignificant crap at home?

Its usually me...newspaper in hand..sitting down and getting comfortable..then realizing after the deed that there is no TP.
Very frustrating.

Hey bloodrayne chill, don't worry about it. :)

my mum had a plaque in the house, it said on it ..."Home. The place we grumble the most... and are treated the best"

me and my bros used to play up and argue about silly stuff, it gets forgotten about.

this is about my 27yrold brother! now my 16yrold brother is a
different story

yeah me and my brother fought one time over bullshit
he started he was drunk and he was like our mom loves
me more and she does more for me first of all she loves us
the same and i think he has real bad anger issues. it was awful
this was actual physical violence, he grabbed me by my throat
and squeezed so the first thing i seen (beer bottle) i grabbed
and hit him in the head, it didn't seem to phase him, when i looked in his eyes i seen nothing i mean it was scary so i had
to do what i had to do. i called the police to come and help
me they put him jail and ME TOO. now ain't that fucked up.
they said it was domestic violence and they also charged me
with 3rd degree assault. all that for trying to keep him from
fucking me up.

Kinda makes my toilet paper issue seem insignificant.

I agree 100%, Sweetie...And we're all usually really laid back about the common stuff...But, this one thing, so simple to correct, just keeps seeming to be a problem...And I KNOW it's silly.....I don't ask for much, so it seems when something this simple is requested, it could be accomplished...Much easier than arguing about it...

And like I said..I think it's more about defiance, than ice trays...

now you got me pissedAww...I'm sorry...lol...Yeah, mine like to come in and throw everything on the couch...But, I just stop 'em in their tracks and tell them to pick it up....Sure, I wish they'd just stop dumping their stuff...But, for some reason, this just doesn't get to me like the ice tray thing...

@ Entity....I really hate to hear that something like that happened to you.....But, you have reminded me how good we actually have it here....The ice tray thing has just become significantly more insignificant.....I hope that everything is okay within your family now....

Being lazy and inconsiderate is just a bad combo.

it goes hand in hand with being a fuck trophy though ...

you'll never have to worry about being considerate with those qualifications :)

And we had 3 bottles of A-1, 3 bottles of hot sauce, 2 bottles of Ranch dressing, and 2 bottles of ketchup open at the same time before...All the exact same kinds...I think the '2 open jugs of milk' and '2 open loaves of bread' bother me the most....

How hard is it to look and see if something is already open?

I do all that too. I don't even think of it as bad. lol

Let me think of other things that might piss people off...

I never turn the fan on in the bathroom when I take a shower. I don't care if it fogs everything up, It's too cold with the fan.

I don't clean up after myself ever. I have never wiped a counter of crumbs etc. I don't put anything away, dishes, glasses etc.

I leave clothes everywhere, my drawers are always open with clothes draped over them.

I never answer the phone if it's not for me.

*thinks harder

You should start beating her more!! ;) One of my roomates is a really sloppy, lazy prick who doesn't do shit around the place and just lets everyone else do the work for him. Sometimes I get really pissed about it but what's the point its not gonna solve anything...... I'll leave him with the mess when I move out  I'm looking foward to getting a place of my own to avoid all this shit.
