Since this film is going to have such a big impact on us horror freaks, it deserves a thread here.
Just watched it... the opening was superb, going through his previous work. It's moved away from his older zombie look and style, obviously bigger budget and tech available, no doubt to attract the DotD2k4 fans, but I don't see that being a problem, as the old fans will want more Romero Zombies anyway.... it's been years!!

They don't give much away in it, but it looks cool. I think i might go see it at the drive in. :D Drive-ins are the best! And when I move in to my new place next Tuesday, I will have one less than a mile from my house! :D :D :D

Shit. Do you still have drive-ins. I thought they went out ages ago. I wish we had that sort of thing in england. Do they still come up to your car and serve you food?

the only problem is the sound .. it really loses something there

I'd love to get the opportunity to see this at a drive in, would be great atmosphere out in the open at night. Only after seeing it in full Hi-Def ....THX ...DTS ...Digital or what ever my local cinema has.

Agreed...first see it at the local cinema. Drive-ins are fun [ beer and your own food ] but they do have shitty sound and if its the first movie, the picture usually sucks because it ain't dark enough yet.

Yeah, this one looks okay!
But Romero has turned out to be the brand name of quality over the years, hasn't he? At least when it comes to zombie movies.
